Workflow Templates

  1. Workflow Templates

Design the stage pipelines your projects follow, with tasks, approvals and gates. Attach a template to a service and it is applied automatically when an order becomes a project.

  2. New template

Opens the template editor, where you name the template, optionally attach it to a service, and build its stages.

  3. Your templates

Every workflow template with its stages drawn as a flow. Inactive templates are marked.

  4. Template header

Shows the template name, the service it is attached to and the number of stages. Edit opens the editor; the trash icon deletes the template after confirmation.

  5. Stage flow

Stages in order from left to right. Each card shows the stage type (Task, Approval or Gate), any condition, whether the client approves in the portal, the number of approvals needed and the SLA in hours.

  6. Name and service

Give the template a name and choose the service it is applied to automatically, or leave it unattached. The switch below makes the template active or inactive.

  7. Stages

Add stages and drag them to reorder. For each one set a name and type; approval stages also take a quorum and optional client approval. SLA hours and a condition on budget or progress are optional.

  8. Save template

Save stores the template and returns to the list; Cancel discards your changes. A name is required.
