Write a post that ranks and converts

  1. Save

Stores the post with everything set on this page. It stays disabled until the post has a title; whether visitors can see it depends on the Status you choose.

  2. Post title

The headline of your post, up to 200 characters. If you leave the link empty, it is created from this title.

  3. Post text

Write the article as plain text. A blank line starts a new paragraph and a line starting with "## " becomes a subheading. The post is laid out in your chosen blog design automatically.

  4. Status and scheduling

Draft keeps the post hidden, Published puts it live and Scheduled publishes it automatically at the date and time you pick here. A scheduled post needs a date, and past dates cannot be chosen.

  5. Category and link

File the post under a category or leave it uncategorized, and optionally set its link (slug). Leave the link empty to generate it from the title.

  6. Cover image

Upload a PNG, JPG or WEBP picture for the post; it also appears as the thumbnail in the blog list. Remove image clears it. Like everything else, the change is kept when you save.

  7. Excerpt

A short teaser of up to 500 characters, shown on blog list cards and when the post is shared.

  8. SEO title and description

How the post should appear in search results: SEO title up to 190 characters and description up to 300. The counters show how much room is left.

  9. Write a post that ranks and converts

Give the post a clear title, cover image, body and SEO fields. The posts that work answer a real question your audience types into Google and end with a clear next step. Save it as a draft while you work and publish only when it reads well.
