Domain Extensions & Prices

  1. Domain Extensions & Prices

Manage the domain extensions (TLDs) you sell and their register, renew and transfer prices. The tour covers the tab you are on; switch tabs and restart it to see the others.

  2. Sections

Extension Prices is the main price list. Depending on your setup you also get Discounts, Domains at your provider, Analytics, and the domain group's Page Design, FAQ, Order Settings and Settings. The last tab you used is remembered.

  3. Search, sync and add

Search extensions by name and press Enter. Sync from API imports costs from your domain provider (the provider key must be set in Integrations first). New extension adds a TLD with its prices by hand.

  4. Global profit margin

Sale price = cost × (1 + margin). Apply recalculates every extension that does not have its own custom margin.

  5. Pricing policy

Price rounding makes retail prices look clean and always rounds up, never below cost. The FX buffer adds extra margin when the cost is in a different currency than you sell in. Changes apply instantly to all extensions, without a new sync.

  6. Renewal margin warning

For these extensions the provider's renewal cost is now higher than what active subscriptions charge, so every renewal loses money. The badge shows the worst margin; review those subscription prices. This card only informs, it changes no prices.

  7. Active providers

Registrars that are configured and enabled. Green ones have a price catalog that is synced automatically; ones marked manual need their costs entered per extension.

  8. Extension prices

Each extension with cost, margin (custom when overridden), register, renew and transfer prices, allowed registration years, provider and status. Sort by the column headers and change the page size above the table.

  9. Provider per extension

Auto (cheapest) picks the provider with the lowest cost and shows which one it chose. Pick a specific provider to pin the extension to it; each option shows that provider's register cost.

  10. Extension actions

The eye opens prices by year for register, renew and transfer, a provider comparison and manual entry. The pencil edits the extension, including a custom margin, prices, order, active status and manual provider costs. The trash icon deletes it after confirmation.

  11. Discount policy

When a provider's cost drops, a discount is created. Turn on automatic lowering to apply it straight away, or leave it off to approve each one. Drops smaller than the threshold are ignored, and suspiciously large drops always need approval.

  12. Awaiting approval

Discounts that are not live yet, with old and new cost and price and the drop percentage. Customers see the old price until you Approve; Reject discards the discount.

  13. Live discounts

Discounts that are currently applied to your storefront prices.

  14. Domains at your provider

Load or refresh the domains in your provider account and see how many match a customer. Unassigned domains are listed first so their renewals are not missed; pick a customer and assign. Assigning only records ownership, with no provider call and no charge.

  15. Domain analytics

Which registration term customers chose in the last 90 days, and the realised margin per extension, comparing active subscription revenue with the current renewal cost. Red rows are losing money.

  16. Page design

Opens the drag-and-drop builder for the domain category page on your storefront, with a live preview.

  17. FAQ

Questions and answers shown on the domain page of your storefront. Add, edit and order them here.

  18. Order settings

Group-level order defaults for domains on the storefront order flow, such as allowed and default billing cycles, setup fee and automatic provisioning.

  19. Group settings

SEO title and description for the storefront domain page, icon, whether it shows in the menu and is active, and which other groups to cross-sell when a customer buys a domain.
