Service Management
Service Management
Everything about one customer service: status, type, price and cycle, domain, renewal date, server and username. The sections below depend on the service type; this tour shows the ones available for this service.
Lifecycle actions
Suspend or reactivate the service, Terminate it (deletes it and its data from the server; you must type a confirmation word), or Delete order, which stops billing and needs a reason. Deleting at the provider as well is optional and cannot be undone.
Last error
The last provisioning error for this service. For a failed server setup, assign the provider and package in the Catalog first, then use Retry setup; it creates a real, billed server.
Resource usage
Disk and bandwidth used against the quota, read from the provider and cached for 5 minutes. Bars turn amber from 80% and red when the quota is full. This view is read only.
Software delivery
Delivery status, service number, product and plan, site ID, order reference, links to the site and its admin panel, auto login, custom domain and add-ons. Redeliver either refreshes the login details (data kept) or resets the site to factory settings, which erases all data and needs typed confirmation and a reason.
Package
The hosting package of the account on the server panel. Pick another package and confirm to switch the account on the server.
Panel password
Sets a new password for the hosting account on the server panel. Generate creates a strong password you can show and copy; it must be at least 8 characters before you can update it.
Panel login
Opens the hosting control panel in a new tab, signing you in with one click when the panel supports it.
Hosting management
The same tools your customer sees in the customer panel: domains, email, databases, FTP, DNS, cron jobs and redirects, depending on what the panel supports.
Connect to server
This hosting service is not linked to a server account yet. Choose the server, enter the remote username and domain, and click Connect; the package, password and panel tools appear afterwards.
Email management
Manage the mailboxes of this email service as the customer would: create and edit mailboxes, change passwords and settings, set up forwarders and check DNS health.
Server
IP address, panel and power state, plus Web console, Start, Stop, Reboot, Reset root password and Rebuild. Stop, reboot and root password ask for confirmation; Rebuild erases all disk data permanently. Paid options that could not be applied automatically are listed at the top.
Extra disks
Extra disk volumes attached to the server at the provider. Adding or removing a disk changes a billed resource, so a reason is required.
IP addresses
The primary and any extra IP addresses of the server. You can add an extra IP or release one; a reason is required for each change.
Change plan
Moves the server to a larger plan at the provider; the server must be powered off and downgrades are not possible. Growing the disk cannot be undone, and billing is not updated automatically.
Service price
Set the recurring amount, currency and billing cycle by hand; it applies from the next renewal, with no charge or notification now. A reason is required. For resold services you also see purchase price, sale price, profit and margin. The lock keeps domain renewal price sync from changing the amount.
Service term
Change the period end or renewal date by hand with a required reason. Billing, customer 360 and the customer panel follow this date, and the next invoice is issued based on it.
Recent activity
