Page design

  1. Page design

Build a CMS page with the same drag-and-drop tools as the storefront, with a live preview. The Open page link shows the published page in a new tab. This tour walks you through every tool.

  2. Desktop or mobile

Switch the preview between a 1280px desktop view and a 390px phone frame to check both layouts.

  3. Reload the preview

Reloads the preview page. Your unsaved changes are sent to it again, so nothing is lost.

  4. Revert (saved)

Available on saved pages. After you confirm, the page returns to its state before the last save; running it again redoes the change.

  5. Undo

Steps back through your unsaved edits, up to 40 steps. Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z does the same when you are not typing in a field.

  6. Save

Stores the page, its settings and design. It stays disabled until the page has a title, and a new page gets its live preview after the first save.

  7. Hide the tools panel

Hides the settings panel and icon rail for a full-width preview. Press it again to bring them back.

  8. Section list

The page's sections in order. Click one to select it and scroll the preview to it; hover to move it up or down, use the eye to hide or show it, and the button at the bottom to add a section.

  9. Live preview

Your real page with the unsaved design. Click a text to edit it in place, or hover a section for tools to move, hide or delete it, open its settings, or add a new section between others.

  10. Settings panel

Shows the settings of the tab picked on the icon rail. When your store uses more than one language, the icon at the top of a tab translates its texts.

  11. Page settings

Title, link, whether the page is published or shown in the footer, and whether it appears on quotes (accepted together with a quote) or as a link on invoices. Order sets its position in lists.

  12. Sections

Add, reorder and edit content sections, including a hero, features, FAQ, gallery, pricing, a contact form or a map. On older pages, blocks from the previous editor keep their look and can be moved, hidden, deleted or retitled.

  13. SEO

The page title and meta description search engines show, up to 160 and 320 characters. When left empty, default texts are used.
