Credit notes

  1. Credit notes

Credit notes are formal documents that reverse all or part of an official invoice. Use this page to issue them and keep the register. An issued credit note cannot be changed or deleted.

  2. Issue a credit note

New credit note asks for the invoice number. After Find, it shows how much was invoiced, already credited and can still be credited. Choose how the money is returned: credit the customer balance, record only, or document a refund already made. Then enter the amount and a reason, which is printed on the document. Issuing takes the next number and cannot be undone.

  3. Search

Type a credit note number and press Enter to find it in the register.

  4. Register

Each row shows the credit note number, how the money was returned, the original invoice, the customer, the date and the net, tax and total amounts.

  5. PDF and e-invoice

Download the PDF of a credit note here. When an e-invoice provider is connected, the badge shows the sending status and the send button passes the credit note to the provider.
