VAT rates

  1. VAT rates

Use more than one VAT rate: create a tax class for each kind of product, with one rate for eating in and one for takeaway and delivery. Enter the rates your tax law sets; none are built in. The text here also shows whether your prices include VAT and the single rate used when no class applies.

  2. Tax classes

Give each class a name and its Eat in and Takeaway and delivery rates. The bin removes a class. New order lines use the saved classes; lines already ordered keep their rate.

  3. Add, default and save

Add class adds an empty row. The default class is used by every product with no class of its own. Press Save classes to keep your changes.

  4. Class per category

Pick a tax class for each menu category. The change is saved as soon as you choose it.

  5. Products that differ from their category

Search for a product and give it its own class, for example alcohol in a food category. Same as category takes it back to its category's class. Products that already have their own class are always listed.
