Find out where stock goes missing between two counts, convert supplier units into your stock units, and take menu items off sale automatically when an ingredient runs out.
Variance, unit conversions and Auto 86
Unit conversions lets you add units such as a case of 24 for each stock item (weight and volume convert by themselves). Auto 86 has the switch that takes items off sale when a tracked ingredient cannot cover one more portion, and lists what is off sale now; items you took off sale yourself are left alone.
Stock variance
For each item: opening stock, received, theoretical use from sales, waste, actual use and the variance in quantity, percent and value, with a total. Variance needs two closed stock counts from the Inventory screen.
Choose the two counts
Pick the count to start from and the count to end at; the first must be older than the second. The table recalculates for the period between them.
