Where your restaurant is configured

  1. Where your restaurant is configured

Business details, working hours, cash register rules, kitchen timing, owner alerts and ordering options, organised into tabs and saved with one button. Work through it once during setup; Working Hours and Ordering are the parts guests notice most.

  2. Save settings

Saves every tab at once, so you can change several tabs and save once. The button stays disabled until something has changed.

  3. Read-only view

Only the owner can change these settings, so the fields are locked and the Save button is hidden for your account.

  4. Settings tabs

General, Working Hours, Cash register (POS), Kitchen, Owner alerts and Ordering. The page address follows the open tab, and you can start this tour again on any tab to have its settings explained.

  5. Business identity

Business name, phone number, contact e-mail, the three-letter currency code, time zone and street address of the restaurant.

  6. Map location

Latitude and longitude, used to measure delivery distance bands and as the courier pickup point. Paste the pair copied from Google Maps into either field. Without a location, every delivery is charged the cheapest band.

  7. Time format

Choose a 24-hour (14:30) or 12-hour (2:30 PM) clock for how times are shown across the panel, storefront and receipts.

  8. Weekly schedule

Switch each day open or closed and give it one or more time ranges, up to six, for example lunch and dinner. A closing time earlier than the opening time runs past midnight and is marked +1 day.

  9. Special days

Date-specific exceptions to the weekly schedule, such as holiday closures or special hours, optionally repeating every year. They are added and deleted immediately, separately from Save settings.

  10. Cash control

Blind cash count has the cashier count the drawer without seeing the expected amount. A cash difference above the variance threshold, as an amount or a percentage, needs a written reason at shift close.

  11. Void and discount controls

Require a reason when a line item is voided, let waiters see only their own checks, and set the discount amount above which the owner is alerted (0 turns the alert off).

  12. Tip presets

Up to six quick tip percentages offered on the payment screen. Remove them all to hide the tip buttons.

  13. Automatic gratuity

Adds a service charge at the rate you set once a party reaches the minimum size. It appears as its own line on the bill.

  14. Loyalty points

Points guests earn for each unit of currency spent, matched by phone number when their order is paid. 0 keeps loyalty off; balances are viewed and adjusted under Customers.

  15. Receipt footer

Text printed at the bottom of every customer receipt, such as a thank-you note, the Wi-Fi password or your return policy.

  16. Kitchen display (KDS)

Set after how many minutes a ticket counts as stuck, which highlights it on the kitchen board and raises an alert. Course sequencing lets servers fire starters, mains and desserts separately.

  17. Owner alert channels

Choose whether the owner is alerted by e-mail, SMS or both about cash variances, large discounts, stuck tickets and refunds. SMS needs an SMS gateway set up under integrations.

  18. Dine-in checkout fields

Decide whether guests ordering at the table must give their table, the guest count and a name. When a switch is off, that field stays optional; a QR-code table counts automatically.

  19. Payment methods

Turn cash (on delivery or at the counter), pay at table and online card payment on or off for guests. Card payment is only offered when a payment gateway is connected.
