Bookings and the waitlist
Bookings and the waitlist
The service book for the selected day: every booking in time order, the waitlist for walk-ins and quick status filters. Phone bookings can only use slots that are really free; opening times and capacity come from the service periods on the Tables page.
Add a booking or walk-in
New reservation takes a phone booking: choose the date and party size, and only time slots that are really free can be picked, by the same rule as your online form. Add to waitlist records a walk-in party with a quoted wait.
The day at a glance
Reservations and covers for the selected day, how many parties are currently seated, and how many are on the waitlist.
Day, search and status
Pick the service day, search by name, phone or code (press Enter), and filter by status. Each status chip shows how many of that day's bookings are in it; the first chip shows them all.
The service book
The day's bookings in time order, so the team can see who arrives when. Click a booking to open its detail page, where you confirm, seat, cancel or assign a table.
Reading a booking
Each line shows the time and duration, guest, party size, table or Unassigned, occasion, booking platform, deposit status and an Overbooked warning. The pencil lets you reschedule or edit bookings that are not final.
Waitlist
Walk-in parties waiting for a table, with their phone and quoted wait. Mark notified texts the guest when an SMS gateway is set up, Seat marks the party seated, and the X records that they left.
