Order pacing

1. Order pacing

   Keep the kitchen from getting swamped by online orders. Use busy mode at a rush, and set how many online orders each time slot can take.

2. Busy mode

   Shows the current state and changes it straight away: add preparation time so promised times get longer, or pause customer ordering for a while. A pause stops the storefront, QR menu and kiosk and tells connected delivery platforms you are busy; POS and waiter orders keep working, and ordering reopens by itself. Back to normal ends it.

3. Time slot capacity

   Turn on the limit for online orders. When a slot is full, an order for as soon as possible moves to the next free slot and the guest is told the time; a scheduled order for a full slot is refused with the next free time. QR table, kiosk, phone, POS and delivery platform orders are not counted.

4. Slot length and orders per slot

   Choose how long each time slot is and how many online orders one slot can take.

5. Save

   Saves the time slot settings. Busy mode does not need saving; it changes as soon as you press its buttons.
