How and when guests are notified

  1. Save all settings

One button saves everything on this page: channels, events, message texts and staff alert settings. Nothing changes until you press it.

  2. Messages cannot go out yet

Shown when no mail server (SMTP) is configured, or SMS is switched on without an SMS gateway. Until that is fixed, those messages are skipped rather than sent.

  3. Delivery channels

Switch email, SMS or WhatsApp on or off for guest notifications. The badge shows whether each channel is actually configured and able to send.

  4. When to notify

Turn each event, such as order confirmations or reservation reminders, on or off. Message opens its subject and text, where the placeholders listed above (such as the guest name or time) are filled in automatically; an empty field uses the default wording.

  5. Staff alerts

Choose whether critical alerts are also sent to the owner by email or SMS and to which address or number, whether to email the owner about new online orders, the discount amount that raises an alert, and after how many minutes an order counts as stuck.

  6. Recent messages

The latest notifications with their outcome and totals for sent, skipped and failed. Use the buttons to show only one status; skipped and failed rows state the reason.

  7. How and when guests are notified

Order confirmations, "your food is ready", reservation reminders — configure them here. Good, timely notifications cut both the no-shows and the "where's my order?" calls that eat your staff's time during a rush.
