Move your data in and out

  1. Export or import

Export downloads your restaurant data; Import menu brings a menu in from a CSV file. The Import menu tab only appears when your restaurant supports it. The tour covers the tab that is open.

  2. Download everything

Downloads all your data as a single ZIP of CSV files. Exporting never changes your data, but the files contain personal customer details, so store them securely.

  3. Export one dataset

Each dataset is listed with its number of rows. Download saves just that one as a CSV file.

  4. 1. Get the template

Download the CSV template and fill it with your categories, products and variants. The column names it expects are shown next to the button.

  5. 2. Upload and preview

Choose your filled-in CSV and press Preview. Nothing is saved at this stage; you first see what would be created and which rows have problems.

  6. 3. Check and import

Review the counts of new categories, products and variants, the rows that would be skipped as duplicates and the invalid ones. Import applies everything at once; if anything fails, nothing is imported, and existing menu items are never overwritten.

  7. Move your data in and out

This screen lets you export your restaurant's data as CSV or a single ZIP for your own records or a GDPR request, and import an existing menu from another system. The import always runs a dry-run preview first, so you can see exactly what will be created and which rows have problems before anything is saved. Nothing is written until you confirm, and it is all-or-nothing — broken rows are reported, not half-applied.
