Your menu — categories, items and prices

  1. Import and QR menu

Import brings an existing menu in from another platform or file, when it is available for your restaurant. QR menu shows the code guests scan to open your menu; add an optional table label and download it as a PDF to print.

  2. Items, categories and menus

Items are the dishes and drinks you sell, Categories group them, and Menus are named collections such as breakfast or drinks with their own service hours. The tour covers the tab that is open.

  3. Search and add items

Search filters the list by name or SKU. Add Item opens the full editor: photo, price, category, variants, option groups, allergens, availability per order type and, where enabled, translations and time windows.

  4. Your items

Each item shows its photo, name, badges for variants, option groups, spice level and preparation time, its category, price and status: Active, Inactive or sold out.

  5. Item actions

The arrows change the order guests see (not while searching), the pencil edits the item and the bin deletes it after you confirm. The menu offers Duplicate and quick sold-out options: until end of day, for 1 hour or until further notice, undone with Back in stock.

  6. Categories

Add Category creates a group for your items, optionally inside a parent category. Use the arrows to set their order, the pencil to edit and the bin to delete.

  7. Menus

Named menus group items, for example breakfast, dinner, QR or kids, and can have their own service hours. Add a menu, edit it with the pencil or delete it with the bin.

  8. Your menu — categories, items and prices

This is the menu your customers order from: build categories, dishes, photos, prices and availability. When you mark an item unavailable it disappears from ordering immediately, so you're never in the position of selling something you've run out of.
