Connect payments and outside services

1. Cash and default gateway

   Switch cash on delivery or at the till on or off, and once a gateway is set up choose the default one used when a guest does not pick. Both save as soon as you change them.

2. Payment gateways

   Your connected gateways, whether each is enabled and which is the default. Copy each gateway's callback address into its dashboard as the webhook URL, otherwise payments are taken but never marked on the order. Configure edits the keys; the bin removes a gateway.

3. Add a gateway

   Pick a provider you have an account with to enter its keys. Guests only see the gateways you enable.

4. Food delivery channels

   Connect marketplaces so their orders land in your order board and kitchen screen. Connect opens the credentials; once connected, the Operations and Health tabs appear. Prices come from the platform, because the guest has already paid there.

5. Fiscalisation

   Shows whether your country requires receipts to be signed by a certified service. If it is required and nothing is connected, sales are recorded unsigned, so connect a provider here.

6. E-invoicing

   Connect an e-invoicing provider such as Scrada to issue legal invoices for paid orders. Peppol invoices reach business customers when the order has their VAT number. Set your invoice number prefix and choose whether invoices are issued automatically when an order is paid.

7. Reservation channels

   Bring bookings from TheFork, OpenTable or Quandoo straight into your floor plan. Channel bookings are never refused; if the slot is full they are flagged as overbooked. A Not in your plan badge means your plan does not include the feature.

8. On-demand courier

   Connect a courier network to send a courier for delivery orders. With none connected, delivery orders are handled by your own drivers.

9. Accounting

   Connect your accounting system to receive one daily sales summary rather than one invoice per table.

10. SumUp card reader

    Enter your SumUp API key and merchant code and choose your reader to take contactless card payments at the counter.

11. WhatsApp notifications

    Enter your WhatsApp Business token and phone number ID to send order and booking updates. You can also let guests chat with your menu assistant, which needs the app secret, verify token and the webhook address registered in your Meta app.

12. SMS provider

    Choose the SMS provider used for order and booking messages, enter its credentials and save. Leave a secret field blank to keep the saved value.

13. Connect payments and outside services

    This is where you plug in the outside services: a payment gateway so guests can pay online, plus accounting and other integrations that push your data where it needs to go. Until a payment gateway is connected, online payment stays off.
