Clock-in and staff hours

  1. Now, Schedule and Timesheet

Now is for clocking staff in and out, Schedule plans who works which shift, and Timesheet adds up the hours actually worked in a date range. Switch tabs here; each tab has its own tour steps when it is open.

  2. Clock staff in and out

Every team member has a card. Clock in starts their time record, Clock out closes it; staff on shift are outlined in green with the time they started. A person can only have one open record at a time.

  3. Date range and new shift

Pick the From and To dates and confirm with the button beside them to change the period shown. New shift opens a form where you choose the staff member, date, start and end time, section and an optional note.

  4. Planned shifts

All shifts scheduled in the selected range, with date, staff member, hours and section. Use the pencil to edit a shift or the bin to delete it. Planned shifts do not count as worked time.

  5. Hours per person

The total time each team member actually worked in the selected date range, based on their clock-in and clock-out records. Use it as the basis for payroll.

  6. Time records

Every clock-in and clock-out in the range. Still clocked in means the shift is open. Use the pencil to correct a forgotten or wrong time (times cannot be in the future) or the bin to delete a record.

  7. Clock-in and staff hours

Track who is on shift and how many hours they work. It feeds your payroll and, just as usefully, tells you honestly whether you were over- or under-staffed for how busy the night actually turned out to be.
