Train the assistant that answers guests
Train the assistant that answers guests
Teach it your menu, your house rules and the questions guests ask all day, then try its answers in the test chat. Turn on the chat bubble in the settings card to let guests ask it on your website.
Assistant is on
Switches the assistant on or off; it also ticks the assistant step of the AI setup checklist. The switch is stored only when you press Save in the settings card below.
Sync menu
Adds your live menu with prices, allergens and dietary tags to the knowledge base and shows how many items and categories it holds. Sync again after every menu change, then press Train so the assistant learns it.
Assistant settings
Show the chat bubble on your website (each answer uses AI credit), recommend dishes, answer only about this restaurant (recommended: off-topic messages cost no credit), answer only from the knowledge base, reply language, opening message and extra instructions. Press Save to keep them.
Test chat
Ask what a guest would ask. Replies come from the same place as the chat on your site, and a note under a reply shows when it refused an off-topic question, offered a human, or how many knowledge pieces it used.
Add knowledge
Add text (title and content) or a Q&A pair, or choose a file: PDF, spreadsheet or text, such as a menu, allergen table or price list. You are warned if no text can be read from a file.
Train
Turns all your sources into searchable pieces the assistant answers from, and uses AI credit. The Not trained badge next to Knowledge base counts sources that still need it.
Read your website
Enter your site's address, choose This page only or Follow links on the same site, then press Read site. Pages found are added as sources; if nothing readable is found, the reason is shown here.
Knowledge sources
Every source with its type and title. Not trained means it still needs training; trained sources show how many pieces they were split into. The bin removes a source right away, without asking.
