Chart of accounts

  1. Chart of accounts

The full list of accounts your bookkeeping uses — assets, liabilities, income, expenses. Every transaction posts against one of these; add or rename accounts and filter the list to find one.

  2. New account

Add an account to your chart — give it a code, name and type (asset, liability, income, expense).

  3. Each account

One account with its code, name, type and current balance — every transaction posts against one of these.

  4. At a glance

How many accounts you have and totals across your chart of accounts.

  5. The columns

Each row is an account — its code, name, type and current balance.
