1. Pair a reader

   Enter the pairing code shown on the SumUp card reader and click Pair. This works once the API key and merchant code are saved.

2. Paired readers

   The readers linked to your SumUp account appear here after a connection test. Set as default makes a reader the default one for card payments.

3. Add printer

   Opens a form for the printer name, type (browser PDF, Epson ePOS, ESC/POS or ZPL), role (receipt, labels, fiscal or other) and connection. Find printer detects a USB printer from the browser.

4. Printer actions

   Each printer shows its role, type and connection. Use the printer icon to print a test page, the pencil to edit it, or the bin to delete it after confirming. Inactive printers are dimmed.

5. Registers

   Your point-of-sale registers, one per shop-type warehouse. Each register picks its own printer and card reader on the POS screen; add a shop warehouse to create a new register.

6. Registers & devices

   Connect the hardware your cash register uses: card terminals and receipt printers.

7. Card terminal (SumUp)

   Enter your SumUp key and merchant code, test the connection, then pair and pick a card reader so the POS can take contactless payments.

8. Receipt printers

   Add your receipt and label printers (USB, network or ePOS), test them, and set a default so the POS prints automatically.
