Destination tax
Destination tax
Charge tax by delivery country, based on the registrations you declare here. Rates come from a dated table and the rates and registrations you set. This tour walks through the page.
Your responsibility
This tool applies what you set. It does not check whether you must register, it is not tax advice, and using it does not make your store compliant. Confirm your position and the rates with a tax adviser.
Your tax position
Switch destination tax on for checkout, and tell it whether you are registered for the EU One Stop Shop and whether exports where you are not registered carry no tax. Enter your registration numbers outside the EU only where you are registered. Reverse charge and US sales tax are explained at the bottom.
Your tax classes
Choose which rate of the destination country each of your tax classes takes. Under Your own rates you can replace a table rate for one country, for example where your product has a special rate there.
Cross-border goods
Enter your IOSS number if your store is outside the EU and sells goods to EU consumers. Duty rules give customers an estimate of import charges at checkout, labelled as an estimate and never charged. Duty rates are yours to enter.
Save
Saves your tax position, tax classes, own rates and cross-border settings.
Rate table
The standard, reduced and super-reduced rates by country, with what each was checked against and its source. The date of the last check and the next review are shown above the table, with a warning when the review date has passed.
