Product fields

1. Product fields

   Give a type to the specs your products use, such as width, diameter or material. The product editor then asks for a number, a choice or yes/no instead of free text, and add-on price tables can read them. This tour walks through the page.

2. Suggestions from your products

   The specs your products already use, most used first. Click one to add it as a field.

3. A field

   The spec name as it is written on your products, its type and its unit. For a list or yes/no, write the choices one per line. Open the category list to show the field only on products in those categories.

4. Save

   Saves all fields. Values already on your products are kept: a field only changes how the editor asks for them.
