Set your prices and rental rules

  1. Set your prices and rental rules

These settings decide how every booking is priced: the currency, the deposit, tax, long-term discounts and the shortest rental you accept. They apply to all vehicles on your site and can be changed later in the rental settings.

  2. Currency

The three-letter ISO code of the currency your prices are in, for example EUR, USD or TRY. All vehicle prices and totals on your site use it.

  3. Minimum rental

The shortest rental you accept, in days (1 to 365). Customers cannot book a vehicle for fewer days than this.

  4. Deposit

Choose whether customers pay a deposit when they book: None, a fixed amount or a percentage of the booking total. Deposits are collected online only when a payment gateway is connected, and a vehicle can have its own deposit rule that overrides this one.

  5. Deposit value

The deposit amount, or the percentage of the total for a percentage deposit. A fixed deposit is never more than the booking total.

  6. Tax rate

The tax percentage applied to bookings, such as VAT. Enter 0 if you do not charge tax.

  7. Tax mode

Included in price means your listed prices already contain tax. Added to price means tax is added on top of the price at checkout.

  8. Weekly discount

A percentage off the vehicle rental for bookings of 7 days or more. It applies to the rental itself, not to extras. Leave it at 0 for no discount.

  9. Monthly discount

A percentage off the vehicle rental for bookings of 28 days or more; it replaces the weekly discount for those bookings. Leave it at 0 for no discount.

  10. Multi-currency

Opens the multi-currency settings, where you can offer additional currencies on your site. It is optional and can be set up at any time.
