The currency renters pay in

  1. Default currency and markup

Pick your business currency, used for your rates and invoices. The rate markup (0 to 50 percent) is a margin added on top of the exchange rate whenever a price is converted into another currency.

  2. Multicurrency

When this is on, renters can choose the currency they see prices in. When it is off, only your default currency is shown.

  3. Selectable currencies

Shown while multicurrency is on. Tap a currency to offer it or remove it; your default currency is always included.

  4. Save settings

Saves the default currency, markup, multicurrency switch and selectable currencies. Nothing in this card takes effect until you press Save.

  5. Real-time rates

Current rates for one unit of your default currency. The star makes a currency the default straight away, the pencil edits its symbol, name, decimals and rate, and the bin removes it from your list.

  6. Add your own currency

Add a currency that is not in the list by entering its three-letter ISO code, symbol, name, decimals and a rate. The Add button stays disabled until all of these are filled in.

  7. The currency renters pay in

Set the currency shown on your rates and invoices before you take real bookings. Changing it later does not convert your past figures, it only relabels them — so an old "100" simply starts showing in the new currency, which can misstate your history.
