Group your posts so readers find more

  1. Add category

Opens a form with Name (required), Description, Order and a Published switch. The category's link is created from its name automatically.

  2. Table view

Sets the row density of the table; the choice is remembered in this browser.

  3. Your categories

Each row shows the name and link, description, order and how many posts use it. Lower order numbers come first, on the public blog too.

  4. Published switch

Shows or hides a category instantly, without saving. The public blog only lists published categories that contain at least one live post.

  5. Edit or delete

The pencil reopens the form to change the name, description, order or visibility; renaming also changes the category's link. The bin deletes the category after you confirm. Its posts are kept and become uncategorized.

  6. Group your posts so readers find more

Categories organise your articles — for example "Tips" or "Offers" — so a visitor who enjoyed one post easily finds related ones. Keeping people reading a little longer is exactly what turns a curious visitor into a booked appointment.
